The Kingston Fibre Artists cordially invite you to attend Art Threads 2019 from April 8th until May 5th
Show takes place at the Tett Centre for Learning and Creativity located at 370 King St West, Level 1. This is the 22nd annual exhibition for the group and features new work by 17 local artists, including a group challenge featuring fibre art using a favourite quotation as inspiration.
Walk & Talk Friday April 12 at 10 am
Experience the exhibition with a tour and discussion with some of the artists.
Demonstrations Friday April 12 from 1-4 pm
Watch some of the artists demonstrate their creative collage; using an air pen; chenille technique; modern embroidery; and using a knitting machine.
Kingston Food Bank's Sandy Singers will open the show at the reception being held on Saturday April 13th from 2pm to 4pm. Food bank donations will be welcome at the reception and for the duration of the show.
Art Threads is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm until the show is taken down Sunday, May 5th at 5:00 pm.
